For a lot of us, the first theatre program or choir we found wasn’t just an activity. It was the first room where we weren’t “too much” or “not enough.”

MK Performing Arts exists because of that turning point—where a performing arts program finally felt like family and opened a door into a career.

Now we get to build that door for kids, teens, and adults of all ages who want a space for mistakes, honest feedback, and joy in the process.

MKPA is a small, artist-led team serving students through our studio and through programs at Westminster Schools, Sewell Mill Cultural Center, and Smyrna Community Center. What matters most to us is that students feel known, challenged, and supported by our teachers who care about who they are becoming as humans and as artists.

MKPA coaches are working performers, artists, and educators. We know that feeling of being nervous in an audition room, forgetting lyrics, and obsessing over self-tapes.

We don’t just cheer you on. We train your craft, help you understand the process, and make sure you never feel alone in it.
